Sculptra AND EZ GEL Culver City

Regenerative Injectables

Sculptra & EZ Gel for that “what’s her skincare routine?” kind of glow

Sculptra®

What is Sculptra®?

Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable filler that is made of poly-L-lactic acid, and is a little bit more “liquid” than traditional hyaluronic acid-based fillers.

Sculptra works differently than traditional dermal fillers. Instead of simply “filling in” an area by adding volume, it actively stimulates collagen production where it’s injected, encouraging the body to strengthen tissue and restore lost volume on its own.

Sculptra can reverse age-related fat loss in many areas of the face, as well as some areas of the body. Additionally, Sculptra can improve the overall texture, tone, and elasticity of the skin.

Frequently Asked Sculptra® Questions

The primary difference between filler and Sculptra is that dermal fillers add volume to certain areas of the face and Sculptra stimulates collagen production within the skin. Its collagen-generating properties are  why Sculptra is called a “biostimulator.”

We all naturally lose collagen over time – an average of 10% of our total collagen stores each decade. Sculptra replaces lost collagen for up to 2-4 years, and can give a “plump” and “hydrated” effect without adding volume as filler does.

However, Sculptra typically requires a series of treatments to achieve your desired results, and each treatment takes up to three months to begin seeing the benefits of collagen production.

At Rewind, we carry several kinds of filler: Galderma, Juvederm, and RHA Revance. Each filler is designed with a specific set of use cases in mind, and that variety allows us to select your fillers with intention

At Rewind, we carry several kinds of filler: Galderma, Juvederm, and RHA Revance. Each filler is designed with a specific set of use cases in mind, and that variety allows us to select your fillers with intention.

The primary difference between Fillers and Sculptra is that dermal fillers add volume to certain areas of the face and Sculptra stimulates collagen production within the skin. Its collagen-generating properties are  why Sculptra is called a “biostimulator.”

Filler provides immediate volume restoration with just one treatment, and results can last for up to ten months. When it comes to providing structural support to the face and skin, filler is unmatched. Additionally, because dermal filler is primarily hyaluronic acid, it has a hydrating effect on the skin, providing a naturally “dewy” look.

EZ Gel

What is EZ Gel?

EZ Gel is a fan favorite for under eye treatment! It can, however, also be utilized to restore volume and promote collagen and elastin growth in other areas of the face such as nasolabial folds, jawline, midface, cheeks, and temples. It is a natural filler made from the patient’s own blood, it gives volumizing effects like filler along with regenerative effects due to the growth factors in the PRF.

Frequently Asked EZ GelQuestions

The primary difference between EZ Gel and Sculptra is that EZ Gel adds immediate volume to certain areas of the face and Sculptra stimulates collagen production within the skin. Both have collagen-generating properties which is why Sculptra and EZ Gel are called “biostimulators.” Sculptra is formulated from a biocompatible synthetic material known as Poly L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) that restores the lost connective protein in the skin. EZ Gel is 100% natural. It is processed from your own blood and contains your own natural growth factors. When injected, EZ Gel rejuvenates the tissue and restores volume.

We all naturally lose collagen over time – an average of 10% of our total collagen stores each decade.  Sculptra and EZ Gel typically require a series of treatments to achieve your desired results. Each Sculptra treatment takes up to three months to begin seeing the benefits of collagen production whereas, EZ Gel treatment results are immediate. Sculptra benefits can be seen to last up to 2 to 4 years whereas EZ Gel may require annual maintenance.

EZ Gel is 100% natural and created from the patient’s own blood. With a simple blood draw, we process the blood with a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). We then process the PRF in a series of heating, cooling, and blending. This optimizes the growth factors in the PRF while capturing the albumin which creates a gel-like substance used to inject for volume replacement. This is why EZ gel is referred to as a natural filler.

EZ Gel is completely natural, made 100% from your own blood. HA filler is made of synthetic cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Filler has immediate and longer lasting results. EZ Gel restores volume but requires maintenance treatments for specific volume restoration but still will enhance skin. EZ Gel, unlike HA filler, contains growth factors that can improve the quality of the skin and enhance collagen and elastin production long term- it gives a beautiful glow!

HA filler comes in different viscosities (firmness) and can be strategically chosen when a patient needs more extensive structural restoration and support.

Radiesse Results

RADIESSE®   by Merz Aesthetics

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse® is a next-generation dermal filler powered by calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)—a unique compound that sets it apart. Composed of CaHA microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel, Radiesse provides both instant results and long-term rejuvenation.
How does it work?Upon injection, the gel matrix offers immediate smoothing of wrinkles and folds. The CaHA particles then act as a scaffold, stimulating your body’s natural production of collagen for up to 12 months and elastin for up to 9 months—all from a single treatment.
Who is a good candidate for this?

Radiesse delivers immediate lift and lasting skin rejuvenation, making it an ideal solution for patients seeking both instant and regenerative results.

Frequently Asked Radiesse® Questions

Sculptra and Radiesse are both biostimulatory injectables, meaning they stimulate your body to produce its own collagen. But they differ in composition, mechanism, longevity, and best-use areas. Radiesse has a gel component for immediate volume restoration, making it similar to a dermal filler. Whereas, sculptra is reconstituted in a liquid suspension and does not contain dermal filler.

Book a consultation today and one of our providers will complete an assessment and help you decide which is best based on both your concerns and desired outcomes. Radiesse is perfect if you want instant volume and structure with added collagen and elastin stimulation. Sculptra would be your pick if you’re looking for a subtle, gradual build-up of collagen with longer-lasting results and you don’t need immediate volume.
