IPL Photofacial for Post-Inflammatory Erythema (PIE)
IPL Photofacial reduces hyperpigmentation which can be caused by sun damage and scarring.
PIE is red, non-textured scarring that appears after the skin has experienced a trauma, like acne. The redness comes from broken capillaries (tiny blood vessels) which can be seen through the skin in lighter skin tones. IPL lasers target blood vessels and are quite effective at reducing or removing redness caused by PIE, which can’t be treated with other standard skin treatments.
